Winning its first Gold Ink pewter award with only the fourth issue of decline in May 2004, the quality, its oversize format of 10.375 x 12 inches and design stood out among 1500 of North America’s newsstand magazines.
A media award from the adidas Slopestyle event in Austria in 2005 honored decline’s XXX issue with the most progressive layout, coverage and quality from all cycling publications worldwide.
Also in 2005, the November issue of decline broke every rule in the magazine world with its holographic rainbow cover and various metallic fifth colors, awarding the magazine a pewter award in two categories for covers and tabloid publications.
